El Shaddai Creator’s New Game The Lost Child Officially Coming West for PS4 and PS Vita

The North American and European release of The Lost Child by Takeyasu Sawaki has been confirmed for PS4 and PS Vita, courtesy of NIS America.

Following a leak happened yesterday night, today NIS America officially announced that it will publish The Lost Child, a dungeon JRPG directed by Takeyasu Sawaki, well known as the man behind El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron for PS3 and Xbox 360, and the character design of Okami.

The game, which was relesed in Japan at the end of August published by Kadokawa Games, will be released in both North America and Europe in 2018, for PS4 and PS Vita.

Occult journalist Hayato Ibuki encounters a strange girl during his investigations into a series of mysterious suicides in Tokyo. She implores that Hayato must live, before bestowing upon him a mystical device that allows him to capture celestial and arcane creatures. He is now thrust into a world beyond our own, home to horrific monsters and celestial beings. In it, he must delve into dungeons called Layers and solve the mystery of the device. Where his journey leads him could decide the fate of the our world…

A limited edition will be available, priced at $59.99, it will include the official soundtrack, an hardcover art book, all wrapped with the game in a collector’s box.
