Lost Planet 2 Co-Op Demo Coming To PSN On Sept. 24

It’s been said, ladies and gents. One of the Fall’s most anticipated co-op game, Lost Planet 2, will be arriving in the form of a demo (duh!) to the PlayStation Network on September 24th. Anyone and everyone who has gotten play time with this game has said the same thing: The game’s awesome.

A lot of us were disappointed with its predecessor for different reasons. Some felt the story was bland; the lead character had the personality of Frankenstein; and the overall feel of the game was kind of meh. It did have some nifty visuals and sounds, however. But it wasn’t enough to develop a following fanbase. With the announcement of the sequel, which looks nothing like the prequel, and the addition of kicking the shit out of huge monster-thingies with a buddy, things changed. This iteration of Lost Planet seems much more appealing for more than the reason that your friend will be comforting you whilst shooting gargantuan creatures in the eye; it has a lot to do with the mind-blowing visuals that will be permeating your screen (I pray that you all have HD TV’s).

I’ll be rocking the demo with someone special to me. I’m lying. I’ll probably be shooting the stuff with Joel and fraking things up beyond belief. Remember, folks, September 24th, 2009; this is the day when, hopefully, our jaws will hit the floor.
