August 30, 2017

Today, Square Enix released a brand new trailer of Tokyo RPG Factory’s upcoming JRPG Lost Sphear.

The trailer, titled “Welcome to the World of Lost Sphear” actually shows a lot more than the game’s world, also letting us check out the battle system and the Xenogears-like mech called Vulcosuit armors. Like its predecessor, Lost Sphear doesn’t push on incredible graphics, but banks on simplicity, bringing back memories of games of old.

The game will be playable at PAX West in Seattle this weekend, and more info will be shared by Square Enix during a livestream on Twitch on Sunday, September 3rd at 2:00 PM PDT.

You can check out the trailer below. If you want to know and see more, you can also check out a recent batch of screenshots, info and gameplay, and a previous gallery with more screenshots and information.

Lost Sphear will launch in Japan on October 12th, while North America and Europe will get the release on PS4, PC and Switch on January 23rd, 2018.
