Lovely Screenshots and Box Art Released for Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus

Of the multitude of fantastic looking games that have been confirmed for Sony’s PlayStation Vita, none of them have me as genuinely hyped as Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus. Just imagine how quickly your flight will go by if you spend all your time struggling not to get brutally massacred by horde after horde of hellish ninjas. Tecmo has released a batch of screenshots and the box art of the upcoming handheld title.

The screenshots display various menus, some combat,¬†and what appears to be one of the new ninpo attacks that will utilize the console’s touch screen(s). Unfortunately, the box art is the same as the PS3 version of the game, with only slight changes in the background. This is a port, so I guess this is appropriate, but it seems a tiny bit lazy. Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus will launch alongside the PS Vita on February 22nd.
