Today, during Sony Interactive Entertainment's pre-Tokyo Game Show PlayStation Lineup Tour event being held in Tokyo, Kadokawa Games announced LoveR.

The game is the latest work by Ichirou Sugiyama, known for Kimikiss, Photo Kano, and Reco Love. It will release in Japan on February 14th, 2019 for PS4.

We also get another big name at the character design, which will be handled by Taro Minoboshi, formerly at Konami and known for the LovePlus franchise, as well as Root Letter.

The "R" in the title means "Romance" and "Record." In fact, love and photography are the themes of the game. There will be six girls available to romance in the game.

Photography is controlled by using the motion sensor of the DualShock 4, focus control will also be available, allowing players to express their creativity. Voice recognition will be included, enabling instructions to the girl in front of the camera.
