Ludwig has become one of the most popular content creators on both YouTube and Twitch, but even the biggest stars get banned from time to time.

On June 15th, Ludwig took to his Twitter account to announce that his YouTube channel had been banned. This news came as quite a shock to many of his fans, with Ludwig also pointing out that this would end his 618-day uploading streak on YouTube.

Who Is Ludwig?

For those that might not know, Ludwig Ahgren is a Twitch Streamer, YouTuber, and E-Sports Commentator/Competitor from America.

Ludwig rose to fame with his recent Twitch subathon, in which he live streamed his life for a total of 30 days, 7 hours, and 36 minutes with no break. He ended his massive subathon with a total of 283,061 subscribers, the highest all-time concurrent subscriber count in the platforms history. The record was previously owned by Fortnite star, Ninja.

The internet star has amassed over 2.8 million followers on Twitch, and over 1.7 million subscribers on YouTube. Ludwig often streamers under the 'Just Chatting' category, whilst occasionally playing games like Valorant.

Why Was Ludwig Banned From YouTube?

In a statement released on Twitter, Ludwig announced his YouTube channel had been banned from uploading to the platform due to a strike on his previous video.

The strike in question was regarding "child safety", according to YouTube. Many have speculated on which video it may have been that caused the "child safety" strike, but no solid answer can be given on which video caused the ban.

Fans can still visit Ludwig's YouTube channel and watch previously uploaded videos. Ludwig himself is no longer able to upload to his channel until the ban is lifted.

Ludwig discussed his ban during a live stream on Twitch, where he read the details of the ban directly from YouTube. Ludwig said that his "content was removed for violating community guidelines. [Ludwig] won't be able to upload, post, or live stream".

How Long Is The Ban?

Ludwig will not be able to uploaded to YouTube for 1 week, meaning his ban will be lifted on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021.

Ludwig may be able to appeal the ban and get it lifted sooner, should he believe that YouTube have made a mistake. But, as of writing, Ludwig will not be able to uploaded until the aforementioned date.
