Luftrauser is Everything I’ve Hoped For and More From the Not-Vlambeer Gents

A couple months ago I reported on the existence of Luftrauser, a superb-looking dogfighting game from NOT the guys at Vlambeer, NOT the creators of uber-hit Super Crate Box. It finally released over the weekend, in the form of a Flash game, and it’s freaking fantastic.

The controls and gameplay style are simple and extremely fun, and as the game ratchets up in intensity pretty quickly, it’s quite addicting as well. I found myself going back and looking for the link, and ended up playing for an hour more before finally sitting down and writing this one. Check it out; you won’t regret it.

Allen is an utter whore of a gamer; he's completely open-minded to all games, be they AAA blockbusters or $5 casual children's games. His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
