You Can Now Become Gooigi for Halloween With a Free Printable Mask from Nintendo

If you're in dire need of a last-minute Halloween costume for parties: don't worry: Nintendo has you covered with Gooigi. Literally.

Halloween is only a few days away from now, and that just leaves 5 days to get together your costume for the spookiest night of the year. We previously gave some suggestions for the best (worst) video game-themed Halloween costumes that you can find in stores right now, but if you happen to be a Luigi’s Mansion fan, you can make your own costume of its lovable Gooigi right now in the convenience of your home.

Right before Halloween is set to begin, Nintendo has released an official printable mask of Luigi’s Mansion 3‘s lovably green goo companion, Gooigi. Over on Nintendo’s website for the game, you can download a PDF of the mask, print it out at home, cut it out, and simply attach string or ribbon to the back of the mask. If you’re in dire need of a last-minute Halloween costume for your parties this weekend, the Gooigi mask seems like the perfect mix of celebrating Luigi’s Mansion 3‘s upcoming release AND being stylish all at once. You can also find an image of the mask below.

In terms of other recent news related to Luigi’s Mansion 3, Nintendo released a trailer last month that gave us a look at a brand new floor and other new features coming to the highly-anticipated threequel. Meanwhile, at Gamescom back in August, we also got an extended look at the game with 20 minutes of gameplay being released by Nintendo. Given the timing with Halloween, and as a big fan of the previous two titles, personally I’m excited to ring in one of my favorite times of the year with Luigi and Gooigi.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch on October 31, 2019, just in time for Halloween. In the meantime, you can still pre-order the game now over on Amazon.
