On February 10, miHoYo published a new episode of Lumi N0Va where this time, the Virtual YouTuber shared with her fans a beautiful audio story version of the Boar Princes: one of the many books readable inside free-to-play JRPG Genshin Impact (PC, PS4, PS5, Mobile, Switch soon). This might be another sign we could see Lumi N0va inside Genshin Impact itself at some point.Firstly, this new Lumi N0va video uses an easily recognizable BGM from Genshin Impact. Sadly, you will be having a hard time understanding Lumi's words though, unless you can speak Chinese. Only a Chinese version is available. Lumi teased on Twitter however that more languages are coming:

Secondly, there's a curious detail to note about the video. The previous Lumi video, was titled Episode 14. And yet this one is Episode 18. Who knows what happened. Is it another sign?

Lastly, right before the official, worldwide launch of Genshin Impact on September 28, 2020, DualShockers had the opportunity to interview the development team at miHoYo.

We most notably asked miHoYo if Lumi could one day appear directly in Genshin Impact, and the possibility wasn't ruled out if players ask for it. With this new episode, the possibility of Lumi N0va directly joining Teyvat, the world of Genshin Impact, is definitely one step higher.

Lumi N0va Episode 18: Care to Hear the Story of the Boar Princess?

miHoYo publishes the YoYo Lumi videos on Chinese site bilibili with Chinese subs, and later on, YouTube with English subs. Lumi is quite popular on the English scene now, which wasn't the case at her debut. But her biggest audience by far is in China, with her Bilibli account reaching over 1.35 million followers.

An animated desktop wallpaper of Lumi is available on PC and Android.

The Lumi N0va project started in May 2020, and its link with miHoYo and Genshin Impact was initially a well-kept secret. We had our doubts from the start though. Lumi is unique in how she has incredibly smooth and beautiful animation compared to even the biggest VTubers such as Kizuna Ai. miHoYo focuses on quality rather than quality, with short videos of Lumi being published once a month on average.
