Today, during a Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that Lyndis from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade will be a playable character in the upcoming Nintendo Switch and New 3DS game Fire Emblem Warriors. After the Direct, a new gameplay trailer for the title that includes Lyndis was released.

She is another sword user, and is used in the trailer to show off the weapon triangle. With this system, swords are strong against axes, axes are strong against spears, and spears are strong against swords. The trailer shows a ton of different characters in action, including Chrom, Marth, Takumi, Lissa, Corrin, Frederick, Camilla, Robin, and Cordelia.

The video also highlights the games pairing system, where two main character can be paired together in order to do special attacks and deal more damage. It also shows the game's customization options; players will be able to give each warrior their own weapons to increase their strength. The trailer ends by giving us a glimpse at the tactical planning players can do through an in-game menu to turn the tide of a battle.
