We've talked a bit about Macross 30: The Voice that Connects the Galaxy before - the RPG that focuses a lot on planes that transform into mechs (or is it the other way around?). So, I suppose you could dub it a "flight action RPG" of some sort. Regardless, the franchise has been around for a while in Japan, and the latest game in the series will be released over there in February.

It's almost like a hub-based RPG, where main quests begin on the bridge of a carrier of some sort, and, from there, you begin the various quests that you pick up. There is also a huge exploration element to the game, with both an overworld and dungeons to get lost in. Oh, there's story involved, as well, of course, and lots of cool anime and dialog scenes that are fully voiced. It's certainly a unique blend of flight combat game and RPG. Sounds like something I'd like to play. Regardless, a batch of new screens were released for the title and I've put there here just for you to check out. (There's Japanese box art, too!)
