Audio is becoming more important to gamers, especially those who play online and would like to get the upper edge on their opponents. The Tritton headset is one of the more popular and affordable gaming headsets that I have no problem recommending for anyone who is looking to get more out of their audio. I'm playing games right now that, without the headset, just wouldn't be the same.

Mad Catz has got to be happy with the deal they've signed with Microsoft. They now have worldwide rights to manufacture, market and sell licensed co-branded wired headphones. These headphones are not in Dolby 5.1 but they still amazing. They also own exclusive rights for wireless stereo and Dolby 5.1 headphones for Xbox 360, which is the first time that co-branded and licenses wireless headsets will actually be available for 360. This deal basically boils down to Mad Catz creating new headsets with the Xbox 360 symbol all over it, which can be a big deal for gamers who are looking for headsets that will work across all gaming platforms.

We are to expect these headsets coming before the end of the year. I love my Tritton headset and will definitely be looking at the wireless ones when they hit this holiday season.
