With only a few days away, gamers will be able to hop into the Magnum Opus and tear it through the wasteland with Mad Max, and this time around both PS4 and Xbox One players will able to enjoy the madness with equal pleasure.

Avalanche Software senior producer John Fuller confirmed in an interview with GamingBolt that Mad Max will be running at 1080p on both PS4 and Xbox One, allowing those on either system to enjoy the title with virtually the same performance.

In addition to the resolution, Fuller also spoke in the interview on the map size that players can expect to roam in throughout Mad Max, and Fuller's brief summary is that it's bound to be big, as he mentioned that "there are no finite limits to the map…in other words, there is no ‘one side’. You can continue driving into The Big Nothing until you get bored or killed."

Mad Max will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 1st, 2015.
