Super Bowl 53--or LIII if you like your Roman numerals--is set to take place this coming Sunday, February 3, in Atlanta, Georgia and it will feature a showdown between the AFC's New England Patriots and the NFC representatives the Los Angeles Rams. As is tradition this time of year, EA Sports turned to this year's edition of Madden 19 to try and predict who the winner of the game will be and this year, it sees youth coming out on top of experience.

In a simulation game run through Madden 19, the Rams beat the Patriots by a score of 30-27 to capture the team's first title since 2000. The game was quite contentious and despite the outcome, the first half of the game saw the Patriots with a commanding 17-3 lead. However, the Rams stormed back in the second half and scored 27 points to go on and win the game. The sim also saw the Rams' defensive tackle Aaron Donald winning the Super Bowl MVP award after tallying up four sacks.

Of course, just because this was the outcome in Madden 19 doesn't mean it's a surefire bet to be the final result in real-life. Just last year, Madden 18 predicted that the Patriots would beat the Philadelphia Eagles only for backup quarterback Nick Foles and crew to end up taking down football's iteration of the Empire. Personally, though, I'm hoping this year's prediction is spot-on. Tom Brady does not need a sixth ring. Go Rams.

You can find some highlights from the sim that EA Sports ran in the video down below if you're interested. Let's just hope that this Sunday's actual game is as interesting as the one that played out in Madden 19.
