The Madden series is one of the most popular in all of the EA Sports franchises, today it received a small update.

It's hard to deny the success of Madden 21 despite the many issues players had with it when it initially released. While those problems are still issues within the game's community, Madden 21 has had its fair share of updates.

Today, a new patch was pushed for the game seemingly out of nowhere.

Madden 21 Patch Notes April 13

Just earlier this month, the game received a large update that fixed multiple gameplay and animation issues so another big patch coming so soon seemed unlikely.

The official Madden 21 patch notes for April 13 fall right in line with that logic: a small fix. The full patch notes read as follows:

Today's Madden NFL 21 Title Update addressed an issue with end conditions in Madden Ultimate Team Ultimate Challenges.
The Title Update is now available on all platforms (i.e. PC, Stadia, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5)
