For those of you wannabe gangsters who are afraid of popping a cap in someones ass due to the sheer sodomizing that you will endure in jail, there is a game that will allow you to, virtually, play the role of a mobster.  Everyone, at least once in their lives, contemplated on living the life of a badass gangster in one of the major mafia syndicates.  Whether it be the Italian mafia, the Irish mafia, the Yakuza, whoever the hell it is, we're restricted for a couple of reasons; one, we're not as tough as we thought we were; two, we're not of any decent or relation to those races (a Latino in the Italian mafia? Hm. Try finding a fly amongst frogs - same effect); and three, we don't have the resources or time to dedicate to that way of life - gaming takes up way too much of our time.

But, for those of us who enjoy the fruits of gaming and pistol whipping people, 2K Games has head our cries of anguish.  Mafia II, a beautiful crafted look into the dark and unforgiving world of the Mafia, expands upon the original hit game, Mafia, which takes players deeper into the live of the Mafia with a mature and exciting experience that will immerse players like never before.  Developed by 2K Czech, Mafia II will harness the power of the developer's next-generation engine built specifically for this game.  If you've been itching to mafia-ize the world with the most badass mofo since Bugs Bunny, you're in luck. The story of Mafia II centers around Italian American, and petty criminal, Vito - the son of a poor immigrant who is trying to escape the life of poverty that convoluted his childhood.  While kicking it in the streets, Vito learns that joining the Mafia is the only route to wealth and respect for people in his situation (a la Godfather II).  Watching his father break his back on hard labor, Vito strives to become a "Made Man."  Vito and his childhood friend, Joe, embark into the world of organized crime which will open the doors Mafia low-level jobs such as robbery.  If you wanted to experience the tough guy persona through the eyes of someone else, you're better off watching Casino or Goodfellas.  Otherwise, immerse yourselves in Mafia II for an engaging experience that, we believe, will have you hooked.

I just got a cavity from these sweet images /end corny line.   If you're wondering how on Earth 2K Czech pulled off these visuals, say hello to their little friend Illusion Engine. Not much is known about the engine other than the fact that it kicks serious ass.  The game itself revolves around an authentic portrayal of 40's and 50's America that is accompanied by an immersion of Golden Era music tracks from the era's most influential artists.  You'll probably be running around in your stolen cars shooting people in the face whilst listening to the sweet sounds of Richie Valens and his oh-so hit song, "La Bamba."  Picture that for a moment, will you?

And for the finale, an orgy for your eyes.  Check out the new trailer for Mafia II below and prepare to be wow'ed.
