Today developer Hangar 13 and publisher 2K Games revealed some new details about the upcoming expansion for their game Mafia III.

Titled Sign of the Times, this expansion will see the game's protagonist Lincoln Clay face off against a cultist group called The Ensanglante, who uses a hallucinogenic drug to control its members. During their time fighting The Ensanglante, players will be able to wield new weapons like a throwing knife, and new tactics like a new slow-motion feature.

Hangar 13 also released a brand new video showcasing some of the features you'll find while playing the expansion. You can check it out at the end of the article.

At the end of May, the game's latest DLC content, titled Stones Unturned, was released, which saw Lincoln going up against a new villain named Conor Aldridge. The same day, a trailer for the expansion was also released. A few days earlier some high-res screenshots for Stones Unturned were revealed.

Mafia III: Sign of the Times is set to be released on July 25th, 2017. As of the time of this writing, a price for the expansion has not been revealed.

Mafia III was originally released on October 7th, 2016, and is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
