Magearna, the mythical and artifical Pokémon first revealed by Coro Coro magazine, has been official announced by The Pokémon Company International.

According to the official site's data on the new addition to the franchise:

Magearna will appear in the next Pokémon movie coming out later this year. A corrupt minister has stolen Magearna, an artificial Pokémon that was created over 500 years ago, in order to use its power to take control of the mechanical kingdom.
