Remember The Rock and Sock Connection? Well, your experiences will no longer be confined to your shoddy -- but probably awesome -- memory and blurry YouTube videos: Mick Foley is coming to WWE '12 in December. That's right, one of the toughest sons-of-a-gun in sports entertainment is climbing back in the ring.

Foley's inclusion in WWE '12 harkens back to the golden days of professional wrestling. You know, back when dubstep was hardly even a thing and before those panda-loving tree-huggers got their way and the World Wrestling Federation had to change its name.

Now you can construct team-ups like the classic Rock and Sock Connection, throw Mankind into cage matches he's all-too comfortable in or pit Dude Love and Cactus Jack against each other in a no-holds-barred ladder match. Last time I did that was with No Mercy on the Nintendo 64 and the incremental advancement in console processing power might make these fights look a bit better in WWE '12. At least I hope they do.

Check out the trailer after the jump.

After seeing that, I think WWE '12 just earned itself a RedBox rental in the Campuzano house this Christmas. Between myself and a gang of cousins who grew up with Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Mankind and The Rock, the asking price for the DLC -- which wasn't disclosed in the announcement -- will be well worth the price of admission. There's about 10 of us, after all. WWE '12 hits stores Nov. 22 and the Mick Foley DLC will drop sometime in December. We'll keep  you posted.
