Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate fans have been clamoring for the addition of the new character Marie Rose to the cast of the console version of the game, and Tecmo Koei decided to relent.

Today, during the finals of the official national tournament of the game, Producer Yosuke Hayashi announced that Marie Rose will appear on PS3 and Xbox 360 this spring, while he did not mention if she’ll be part of a free update or a paid DLC.

Hayashi-san also teased a new update including “surprise features” that will be released on consoles this February, explaining that we’re going to hear more details about it soon.

Of course we’ll keep you posted on said details here on DualShockers as soon as they’ll emerge.

RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
