Does Mario Golf: Super Rush have multiplayer modes?

Yes, Mario Golf: Super Rush has different multiplayer modes that you can play with up to three other friends. They are Standard Golf, Speed Golf, and Battle Golf. Here’s everything you need to know about them:

Standard Golf:

In this mode, every stroke counts and the lowest score wins this classic game of golf.

  • 1–4 players
  • Local Wireless and Online Play (Up to 2 players per system)
  • 6 unlockable courses
  • 3, 6, 9, or 18 holes
  • Take turns or all at once

Speed Golf:

In this mode, you compete with up to three other players and race through the course to sink your ball first.

  • 1–4 players
  • Local Wireless and Online Play (Up to 2 players per system)
  • 6 unlockable courses
  • 3, 6, 9, or 18 holes
  • All play at the same time

Battle Golf:

Battle Golf takes the game to a whole other level with more obstacles. All holes are open at the start, but once a player sinks a ball in it, the hole is closed. The first to win three flags wins the game!

  • 1-4 players
  • Local Wireless and Online Play (2 players per system)
  • 9 holes
  • All players golf at the same time!

Co-op and Online Multiplayer in Mario Golf: Super Rush

Sadly, there is no co-op mode in Mario Golf: Super Rush but you can enjoy local PVP multiplayer mode with up 4 players for free.

The game can also be played in online multiplayer mode with up to four friends as long as the users have Nintendo Switch Online.

Split-Screen Mode

Not all games offer split-screen functionality so it is nice that Mario Golf: Super Rush supports split-screen multiplayer.

Players can also enjoy split-screen action while playing online or locally. However, only two players can play simultaneously in split-screen mode.

I hope this answers all your queries. In case there is anything else you’d like to know, feel free to drop a comment!
