Those Nintendo fans living in Japan are in for a New Year treat -- according to Nintendo Japan's website, three classic games are heading to Wii U: Mario Kart 64Final Fantasy I/II (Game Boy Advanced), and Super Mario 64. All three games will be making their way January 6th in Japan.

There is no indication whether Mario Kart 64 or Final Fantasy I/II will be heading West -- Mario Kart was previously on Wii's Virtual Console, so is technically available in Wii Mode. Meanwhile, Super Mario 64 DS has been available in Europe since Christmas Eve -- hopefully it will be making it to North America soon.
