Mario Kart 8 Deluxe hit the Nintendo Switch today, so Nintendo released an Accolades trailer to celebrate. Like most accolade trailers, its shows some rather favorable blurbs and review scores about the title over gameplay.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundles all of the original Wii U game's content and DLC together in one package alongside a revamped battle mode, the ability two hold two items, and new characters and items. You can check out a trailer showing off everything that is new about this version here.

DualShockers' very own Lou Contaldi reviewed Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, giving it an 8.0 in his review and saying that "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is undoubtedly the definitive version of the game — maybe even the series" even though he had qualms with the remaster's smart-steering and lack of substantial new content for returning players. We gave the original game on Wii U a 9.5.
