Yesterday many were surprised by the fact that Nintendo did not give more room to shine to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on its Nintendo Switch presentation from Tokyo, but today the house of Mario and Zelda made it up during a Treehouse livestream.

The footage shows plenty of gameplay, including some of the new characters that will come included in the game, alongside all the DLC characters.

We also learn that the game runs runs at full 1080p, 60 FPS when the console is docked in its base, and 720, 60 FPS when undocked.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe releases on April 28th, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
