As two of the titles that helped steer a successful first year for the Nintendo Switch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2 have still been getting regular installments of new content, and according to Nintendo, it appears that won't be letting up any time soon for either title. In a video posted through Nintendo of America's Twitter account, Nintendo's head of software development Shinya Takahashi took to answering a few questions on some of the Nintendo Switch's most popular titles, and gave a few more insights on two titles in particular: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2.Takahashi stated that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will be getting "further updates" after the most recent update that brought support for Nintendo Labo to the popular racing game. Alongside Mario Kart, Takahashi also confirmed that Splatoon 2 will be getting "more free updates all the way until December."For Splatoon 2, it's not quite clear whether Takahashi means that the game will end all updates after later this year, or whether there will be paid expansions or DLC coming after this year like the recently-released "Octo Expansion" last month. Either way, at least players of both games can look forward to the fact that more content will be on the horizon.Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2 are both available now for Nintendo Switch.
