Martha Is Dead Confirmed for PS5, Launching in 2021
The new trailer confirms what platforms the game will be available on when it launches next year.
Wired Productions is well-known for its narrative-driven thrillers, and Martha Is Dead is another game the publisher has up its sleeve. The game was officially confirmed last night through a trailer during The Golden Joystick Awards 2020 to be heading to the PS5.
Originally announced last year, Martha Is Dead is a new upcoming title from developer LKA. Earlier this year we were shown over ten-minutes of gameplay footage, and the game was, at the time, only confirmed for PC and Xbox Series X / S.
As shown above, the trailer takes an arty approach, mixing between a puppet theatre theme and then a first-person perspective. The trailer eventually builds up to some really grotesque images after the girl pulls a doll apart. The ending slate confirms that the game is coming to PS5 as well as PS4 and Xbox One.
Players will take on the role of Martha’s sister, trying to piece together clues surrounding Martha’s death. All while set during 1944 as German and Allies battle against one another in Tuscany. Wired Productions also tweeted out confirmation on the game arriving next year and its arrival on PS5.
