Gazillion has released a new closed beta launch trailer in celebration of today's closed beta release of the PS4 version of Marvel Heroes Omega. In the new trailer, which can be seen below, we get to see some fast action gameplay that has been tailored for the console release. Originally released in 2013 on PC, the PS4 launch marks the first console release of Marvel Heroes. The game will also release on Xbox One shortly after the PS4 launch.

In the trailer, we also get a confirmation from Gazillion that local co-op will be available in Marvel Heroes Omega, a feature that isn't available on PC. Players interested in the closed beta can purchase a founder's pack which will grant them immediate access to the closed beta which is scheduled to run until May 15, 2017. As a "thank you", Gazillion is giving all players, regardless of participating in the closed beta or not, a free playable character. The character that will be given away for free is Daredevil, the devil of Hell's Kitchen.

David Von Dorman, CEO at Gazillion had this to say regarding the console launch of Marvel Heroes Omega:

“There’s never been a better time to be a Marvel fan. With so many exciting films, television shows, and comics coming soon, we’re beyond excited to be able to bring the characters, costumes, and adventures of the Marvel Universe to life in living rooms around the world. Marvel Heroes Omega has been a true passion project and labor of love for everyone here at Gazillion - and we can’t wait for players to experience it for the first time themselves on consoles.”

Marvel Heroes Omega is scheduled to launch on PS4 and Xbox One this spring with the closed beta officially going live today on PS4.
