Spider-Man fans have had quite a big year between the release of Marvel's Spider-Man by Insomniac Games and films like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse, making it a great time to love everyone's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. With Spider-Man: Far From Home delivering the next chapter of the webslinger's MCU adventures, the PS4 Spider-Man game also is celebrating the film's release this weekend with some new cosmetic additions.

The official Japanese PlayStation Twitter account has leaked that two new suits will appear to be coming to Marvel's Spider-Man as a free update to coincide with the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home, which is hitting theaters over Fourth of July weekend.

The new suits being added to the game are the red-and-black Spidey suit and the stealth suit seen from Far From Home, giving players two new options to swing around New York City in, since swinging around parts of Europe won't be an option like Far From Home.

While the original tweet from the JP PlayStation account has been taken down (indicating that this might have been an announcement that went up a little too early), it's not that surprising that we would see new suits being added to Insomniac's game with Far From Home right around the corner. That being said, it's still exciting to see the game get some new additions since its release last fall, and I know that if I hop back into the game any time soon, I'll be doing it with the slick new red-and-black suit on.

Marvel's Spider-Man is available now exclusively on PS4. If you have yet to the webslinger's PS4 adventure for yourself just yet, you can pick the game up on Amazon right now.
