Today Marvel Entertainment released a new video of Insomniac Games' Action-Adventure game Marvel's Spider-Man.

The video focuses on swinging, showing gameplay and featuring the game's developers as they explain how this crucial feature was perfected. And make no mistake, they perfected it was because it's the most engaging and fun traversal mechanic I've tried on a game, ever.

The devs explain how the mechanics work, and how they wanted to make sure that the players feel like nothing can get in their way. We also learn that the aim was to make an accessible system without neglecting depth.

Interestingly, Marvel games realized that Insomniac had really nailed swinging at E3 when players finally got their hands on the game.

You can check out the video below. If you want to see more about the game, you can enjoy another recent trailer featuring Black Cat and another featuring the photo mode, which will be added with the day-one patch.

Of course, you should also read my brand new review, which is definitely enthusiastic.

The game releases on September 7th exclusively for PS4. You can pre-order it on Amazon.
