Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order launched today for Nintendo Switch. While it already contains lots of characters, it will be be getting even more content after launch. While these new characters were teased in the E3 trailer, Nintendo and Marvel confirmed that first six DLC characters coming to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order during Marvel Games' San Diego Comic Con panel.
The first two characters to arrive are Cyclops and Colossus from the X-Men and they will be free. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is notable in being one of the first official Marvel games in some time to acknowledge the X-Men, so it is great to see that they are bringing more characters from the X-Men into the fray. These heroes will arrive on August 30 according to those attending the panel:
While those two character are free, the first characters that are part of the game's expansion pass were also unveiled. The following four characters fall under the Marvel Knights DLC moniker: Morbius, Punisher, Blade, and Moon Knight. As a fan of all four of those characters, I can't wait to try them out for myself. The expansion pass that includes these characters, along with eight others from the X-Men and Fantastic Four, costs $19.99.
Marvel Ultimate 3: The Black Order is available for Nintendo Switch right now and can be picked up on Amazon.
