Nintendo revealed more information and gameplay for the upcoming release of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order during today's latest Nintendo Direct.

The footage we saw in question showed off the many characters that will be appearing in MUA3 ranging to those from the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and X-Men among others. We also saw a new slate of live-gameplay for the title which seemed to harken back to the previous entries in the series. Combat still allows you to mix and match different abilities with characters to take down Thanos and his lackeys.

In addition, Nintendo also announced the release window for the game will be that of summer 2019. This means that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 will at the very latest be on your own Switch before the end of September. Not too bad of a turn around from its announcement this past December at The Game Awards to its release.

Below you can check out the new gameplay footage shown during today's Nintendo Direct. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch when it launches.
