Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Lets Loose the X-Men in New Trailer
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 adds Magneto, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, and other X-Men in a new trailer that shows the mutants in action.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is a co-op action RPG that’s coming out this summer exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. As we near the launch date, the developers at Team Ninja have put out numerous trailers showing off the huge roster of Marvel characters available to play as. Today, they released a new trailer that gives us a better look at which X-Men will be joining the fray. Give it a look below.
I’ve watched the video a few times to try and pick out each and every X-Men they’ve included. I may have missed one, but here is who I spotted in the trailer:
That’s quite the lineup and they should all fit well in the gameplay that we’ve come to expect from the Ultimate Alliance series. It’s possible they could add more, as characters like Iceman, Colossus, and Cyclops have been in past games. Plus, it’s kind of surprising to not see Jean Grey given how centric she’ll be in the Dark Phoenix movie coming this year.
Regardless of who ultimately makes the final cut, they’ll team up with characters from all over the Marvel universe. This is shaping up to be a true Marvel “Dream Team” and should make fans of the series very excited.
Players can add to the fun by bringing in up to three friends to play together on the same Switch. The drop-in/drop-out functionality makes adding or dropping players a breeze. Nintendo and Team Ninja have made it easier than ever for players to team up and fight off the big bads of the Marvel Universe.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch on July 19.
