We're a little over a month away from the launch of Marvel's Spider-Man in early September and today, developer Insomniac Games has announced that they are now ready to start preparing the game to ship.Insomniac announced via Twitter this morning that Marvel's Spider-Man has now officially gone gold. This means they will now start preparing this content complete version of the game to be printed on physical discs for shipping while the studio likely begins working on additional content or a day one patch.In addition to the announcement, Insomniac also released a pretty funny image of Spider-Man sitting behind a desk which you might find familiar as the original image is from the old Spider-Man cartoon and in the last decade or so has become a popular meme.
