Sony just keeps on keeping on with the Marvel's Spider-Man coverage even weeks after the game's release, but I'm not going to complain about it.

Earlier today, another new video featuring some of the key developers of Marvel's Spider-Man from both Marvel Games and Insomniac Games was released and this time around, the topic was centered on how they approached working on the character. Since Spider-Man is one of the most popular characters in all of fiction, the task of creating a wholly original version of him is more daunting than you'd think.

Marvel Games' Bill Rosemann cited the classic mantra of "with great power comes great responsibility" when it comes to making a Spider-Man game and said those words applied to them just as much as they do to Spidey. He also spoke about how he wanted to make this world accessible for any potential new fans of the character as that is something Stan Lee used to always try to remember himself when writing the original comic.

Insomniac's Bryan Intihar said that the Ultimate Spider-Man series was also a great importance to him because it proved that you could change the Spider-Man and his surrounding characters in drastic ways while still remaining true to what makes him so special.

It's a really interesting insight into the development of Marvel's Spider-Man and I hope more videos like this continue to come out. As for this one, you can find it attached below.

Marvel's Spider-Man is available now exclusively for PS4.
