Following the reveal of the release date of Marvel's Spider-Man, Insomniac Games answered a lot of questions from the fans on its own Twitter Account, providing some interesting details about the upcoming game.

First of all, we get the confirmation that a photo mode is included, which is awesome considering how great the game looks.

Speaking of looks, we learn that Peter Parker will be able to craft his own alternate suits, and they're a mix of outfits inspired by comics, film, and original designs. While Insomniac isn't ready to share the exact number, they did say that there are "lots of looks" available in the game. Another interesting detail is that the suit you opt to wear will be displayed in cutscenes.

And since we're talking about "looks," Black Cat will also be "involved" in the game, but there is no further info on what role she'll play.

We also get confirmation that the game will run at 4K (the method of upscaling wasn't specified) and HDR on PS4 Pro, and standard PS4 will also support HDR. Both platforms will get a 30 FPS frame rate. It'll be "just like Ratchet & Clank."

If you're pre-ordering the game on the PlayStation Store, you may also want to know that the bonus theme won't be delivered immediately as it usually happens, but it'll come at a later time when ready. That being said, Insomniac promised that it'll be "cool."

Last, but not least, the reason why the base of the Collector's Edition's statue is hidden is that it would be too much of a spoiler to reveal for now.

If you want to know more, you can read about the lack of microtransactions, and check out a batch of lovely screenshots released today.

Marvel’s Spider-man releases on September 7th, exclusively for PS4. You can also currently pre-order the game on Amazon.
