Today Compile Heart released the first gameplay trailer of its recently-announced dungeon-crawling JRPG Kamigokuto Mary Skelter 2, the sequel of the PS Vita game Mary Skelter: Nightmares.

For the first time, we get to see battle gameplay, which will prove quite familiar to fans of the series and the genre. Of course, you won't be surprised by seeing a ton of cute waifus and an equally abundant number of nightmarish creatures.

Unfortunately for PS Vita fans, and probably due to the waning popularity of the portable console by Sony in Japan, Compile Heart decided to make the jump to PS4. While this could have certainly been considered the perfect chance to debut on the Switch, the announcement came only for Sony's home console.

You can check out the trailer below. If you want to see more, you can check out the original announcement, including the opening cutscene and more.

The Japanese release is not that far, and will come on June 28th. No announcement has been made for the moment for the west, but a localization is not unlikely.
