Revealed at E3, Anthem is a new action RPG and a new IP from developer BioWare and publisher EA, and apparently renowned writer Drew Karpyshyn is working on it.

Drew Karpyshyn notably spent 12 years at BioWare, working as not only a writer but a designer on a variety of hallmark titles: such as the first two Mass Effect games, Baldur's Gate, Jade Empire, and KOTOR. He left BioWare in 2012, but then returned back  in 2015, revealing that he was coming back to work on The Old Republic.

Then earlier this year, Karpyshyn revealed that he was also working on a new game, though (obviously) declined to share any further details. Upon the announcement of Anthem, his involvement wasn't revealed; however, thanks to a curious Twitter user, we now know Karpyshyn is indeed involved as a writer on the project.

Details on Anthem's story are currently scarce, but BioWare has said that the game will include a "great BioWare a story," allowing players to experienced it by themselves or with friends across a big open-world.

Anthem is in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC, aiming for a 2018 release window. If you want, you can check out the game's gameplay debut, showing off -- at the very least -- a very beautiful looking game.
