Even though Bioware is hard at work on Mass Effect 3, they once again confirmed that they have no plans to stop dishing out the Mass Effect 2 DLC anytime soon. In fact, in an interview with Videogaming 24/7, Bioware big-shot Greg Zeschuk reiterated that they plan to tell the story between the two games through DLC.

“The last ones were really well received. People were really, really impressed with the Overlord Pack, and the Kasumi one did really well too. It’s something we’re going to continue to do.”

You can say that again. While I haven't played the Overlord content yet, I was rather impressed with the Kasumi DLC. While the Bioware boss did mention that the frequency of DLC will be cut back, he also said that when we do get it, it will be worth the wait.
