Mass Effect 3 Will Be “An Amazing Adventure” Regardless of Platform

For those people who like nitpicking the differences between a PS3 and Xbox 360 version of the same game, you’ll be happy to know that, according to BioWare’s David Silverman, you shouldn’t see any differences between the console versions of Mass Effect 3. Of course, we all know PC games stand in a whole other category, so let’s not even go there.

Mr. Silverman also went on to talk about how emotionally charged the story is by pointing out that “it needs to feel [like] an epic war against insurmountable odds…that’s what makes the story even more emotionally engaging.” While I don’t necessarily think the war itself should hold all the cards to an emotionally engaging narrative (the characters and their interaction with each other and how they react to that story plays a huge part), I’m glad they’re focusing on making this trilogy go out with a bang.

Mass Effect 3 is set to be released simultaneously on all platforms on March 6, 2012.
