It’s November 7th, and this means that it’s also N7 Day, and to celebrate the day traditionally dedicated to the Mass Effect series, BioWare released a brand new trailer of Mass Effect Andromeda.
Unfortunately, one element is still missing in action among the stars, and that’s the game’s release date, the announcement of which wasn’t the menu of today’s festivities. We only get a “Spring 2017.”
In the latest financial results announcement, Mass Effect Andromeda was slated for the 4th quarter of the current fiscal year. Combined with the “spring 2017” window, it would mean a possible release date between March 21st and March 31st. That said, Electronic Arts did not completely exclude the possibility of a delay beyond the fiscal year if necessary “to deliver the right player experience,” so we’re basically in the dark until a solid announcement is made.
The game has been announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC, and if you’re disappointed by the lack of gameplay, the end of the trailer also reveals that it will be showcased at The Game Awards on December 1st.
It’s been a long while since the announcement of the game, but looks like it’s finally happening, even if we don’t know exactly when.
