Mass Effect Andromeda Gets More Info on Romance Options, Dad Ryder and More

After the much awaited gameplay reveal at The Game Awards, information on the upcoming Mass Effect Andromeda is continuing to trickle down the grapevine, thanks to Creative Director Mac Walters, who is keeping up a consistent line of communication with the fans on Twitter.

First of all, we learn that romance options will be different depending on whether you opt to play the male or female protagonist, but there will still be bisexual characters.

We also get an interesting snippet of trivia about Ryder Senior. Looks like he can be the grumpy kind of dad, at times.

Last, but not least, looks like we’re going to get upgradable melee attacks in the game. That’s certainly nice for those of us who prefer to go up close and personal, Krogan-style.

In case you missed it, BioWare recently  released a gameplay trailer, and a large load of information, screenshots and even a second trailer.

The game will release for PS4, Xbox One and PC in spring 2017, while EA still isn’t completely sure if the game will actually launch by March as mentioned in their financial guidance.
