Today — via Game Informer — new screenshots of Mass Effect: Andromeda emerged. The new screens showcase the game’s new vehicle called the Nomad, the game’s scanning system, and even the throwing of gouts of flame.
Captured in the Frostbite engine, here are the three new screenshots:
The picture above is of the game’s new vehicle: the Nomad. It’s said to be like the Mako from the first Mass Effect, but with no offensive weaponry and far better controls. In this particular picture, the Nomad is driving across the planet Elaaden, a scorching (and optional) desert world.
This is an image of throwing gouts of flame. That’s it really. As we have covered before: Andromeda will have a flexible skill system, at least Ryder will, and this means Ryder can learn any ability.
This image shows of scanning. As you make explore in Andromeda you can scan objects like lifeforms and technology, which in turn will give you information that fills out your codex and fleshes out the world more. It also you to discover new recipes for crafting things weapons and armor.
And that’s all the screenshots I have for you today folks. Mass Effect Andromeda is currently slated for a Spring 2017 release on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
