Mass Effect Legendary Edition update (today, June 28) fixes a single bug in the game that might interrupt the process of unlocking achievements on Xbox consoles.

While the rumors around an upcoming remake or remaster collection from Electronic Arts' Dead Space series hype the fans for next month's EA Play showcase, many players are having fun with the publisher's latest collection from a beloved franchise.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is surely one of the most valuable remasters of this year, and a great opportunity for those who didn't play the original trilogy of the series at launch.

Now, if you are playing it on an Xbox console, there is a small update available for you that wipes out a bug with the Achievement system.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition Update Today - Patch Notes

The update only targets Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. So, if you are playing on platforms other than the mentioned ones, you won't need to download anything.

General:

  • Fixed an issue that prevented in-game Achievements from unlocking as intended, which blocked players from unlocking Advanced Training abilities.

As mentioned earlier, the update fixes only one bug, which is not ignorable. If you have had any issues with unlocking the Advanced Training abilities, it should be resolved after downloading the latest update.

That being said, if you still have serious problems with the game, make sure to contact the support team and report the issues.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. The game includes all three entries of the original trilogy along with all the post-launch expansions.
