Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered Rumors Continue as PS4, Xbox One, and Switch Versions Listed by Czech Retailer

Could the game be officially announced very soon?

A remastered Mass Effect Trilogy has been rumored for a while now, with the game appearing last week on a Portuguese retailer’s website before vanishing. However, since then the game has surfaced on yet another retailer site, and at the time of writing is still available to view.

Noticed by Jawmuncher and Twitchytango, the Mass Effect Trilogy looks to be, as previous rumors suggest, heading physically to the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. That’s according to herni-svet.cz. What’s more, the box art for the recent listing is different when compared to the above Portuguese retailers listing, looking less bland, and featuring Shepard. It looks a bit more complete and now resembles the PC box art for the already available PC trilogy.

The description of the game is as you’d expect it if you’re a fan of the Mass Effect games. For those who still haven’t experienced the games then here’s the description as posted by the retailer.

The Mass Effect trilogy traces the fate of Commander Shepard from his beginnings in the Alliance’s army until he reaches the reputation of a legendary elite soldier who is at the forefront of war against an ancient alien enemy, the Reapers. The adrenaline action in the game is combined with a catchy interactive story, where you decide how it will develop gradually. With a team of loyal comrades by their side, each player decides how to save the galaxy, what weapons and abilities they choose, and whether to strengthen or intersect relationships with individual characters.

The Czech retailer has previously been known for leaking the Nintendo Switch version of Assassin’s Creed 3The physical editions are also listed to release on October 15 and will include all three games in the series.

EA has been releasing remastered versions of its older titles this year, with the arrival of Burnout Paradise Remastered and also Crysis Remastered. So, the fact Mass Effect could be heading our way makes sense. Of course, EA and Bioware have not officially announced or confirmed the arrival of the game so, at this point in time, it’s worth taking all of this with a pinch of salt. If what is listed above is to be true, then you’ll find the Mass Effect Trilogy being available on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch and launching next month.
