Massive Infinite Crisis Update Adds Two New Champions

September 24, 2014

Infinite Crisis, the free-to-play MOBA from Turbine based on the DC Universe, has launched its largest update yet today.

A new tutorial mode will now coach players with famous DC heroes and give users six free Champions to play with. Along with the tutorial comes performance improvements, remastered maps and two new champions – Atomic Joker and Nightmare Robin.

Nightmare Robin comes from Earth-19 and is a creation of Talia al Ghul using Batman’s blood and her own to plot a way to destroy her vampire father, Ra’s al Ghul. After training with Batman and seeing him fall to Ra’s al Ghul and become infected with vampirism,  the young Damien now fights a war to scourge vampirism from the world.

Atomic Joker comes from a world post-nuclear fallout. Blighted survivors come across a bunker that is filled with computers and the Jokers head suspended in a preservation vessel. He claims that the military preserved him for coming up with nuclear war scenarios and his pragmatism. He made these poor souls believe he would lead them in creating a new world and subjugated them to his will, eventually planting his suspended head on one of their backs so that he could get a better look at his new world.

You can check out the new Champion profile videos below to get a better sense of their play styles and head over to the Infinite Crisis website to download and play the game for free today on PC.
