The new Medal of Honor game has really been earning its....mettle. EA recently disclosed that the game has managed to sell more than one and a half million copies globally since its North American launch just seven short days ago. The game will claim the number one position on the UK games chart.

In other MoH news, free DLC will be released for the game on November 2nd. Entitled Clean Sweep, the new content will encompass a game mode as well as two new maps. The DLC is confirmed for both the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Of special note, downloading the content for free will require an online pass, as EA has done in the past via Battlefield: Bad Company 2. If you've obtained a used copy of the game, you'll have to purchase a pass separately. Our review of Medal of Honor is incoming.
