Following the top-twenty on Wednesday, today the Japanese statistics firm Media Create posted its weekly analysis.

We learn that the 222,031 copies sold by Kirby Star Allies on Nintendo Switch are significantly higher than its predecessor Kirby: Planet Robobot for 3DS, which sold 145,000 copies ion its debut week, and then climbed up to a total of 634,000 copies in Japan.

Initial sales were also higher than Kirby: Triple Deluxe, which sold 214,000 copies in its debut week, and 836,000 total.

Since the cumulative numbers of previous games of the franchise were about four times as much as the debut sales, Media Create expects Kirby Star Allies to keep selling well in the future.

Speaking of games on Nintendo platforms that aren't doing all too well, Gal*Gun 2 didn't make the top-twenty Switch (while the PS4 version ranked 16th). Today, thanks to the top-sixty, we learn that the Switch version placed in 34th place.

If you're unfamiliar with Kirby Star Allies (which is currently available exclusively for Nintendo Switch), you can check out my review.
