Media Create: Tekken 7 and Nintendo Switch Top This Week's Japanese Sales Charts
Bandia Namco's latest installment in the iconic Tekken series -- Tekken 7 -- debuts at the top of this week's Japanese sales charts alongside the Nintendo Switch.
Today, Media Create released its weekly sales chart of the Japanese market.
For the week between May 29th and June 4th, we have yet another new top-dog on the software charts. As you may know, last week, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was finally dethroned after being king for three straight weeks by Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. But the glory was short-lived for Ys VIII, as this week the charts belong to the newly released Tekken 7 from Bandai Namco.
Meanwhile, on the hardware front, the Nintendo Switch continues to dominate: ranking in at number one, a position it has held every week since its launch back in early March.
All the new additions to this week’s top 20, include: Tekken 7 (No.1), Tsukitomo. Tsukiuta 12 Memories (No.4), Shiin (No.8), and Seiken Densetsu Collection (No.2).
Below, you can view the full software chart:
