Media Molecule “Nails Milestones” After Days of Hard Work; Can We Expect a PS4 Reveal at Gamescom?
Media Molecule is working on a PS4 game, but for the moment we really have no idea of what it’ll entail. The beloved first party studio skipped E3, but something seems to be moving in Guildford.
In the past few days Studio Director Siobhan Reddy tweeted about the studio being hard at work on its current projects, and followed with the mention of milestones being reached.
Excited for @developconf tomoz, but def want to be in 2 places at once! SO MUCH WORK TO DO!!!! #gamesdev All the more reason to enjoy it!

Interestingly, Co-Founder Alex Evans mentioned on the same day Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida visited the studio, very possibly getting a chance to gauge the progress on the game (or games, since Reddy talks about projects).
hurray! @yosp swung by @mediamolecule after develop and appears not to have fired us all. (yet) (touch wood) Partytime! — mmalex [◕\‿/✖]` (@mmalex) July 10, 2014
Gamescom is less than a month away, and if the previous years are any indication we can expect Sony’s press conference on the 12th. Considering that Media Molecule’s next labor of love is seeing progress, it’s very possible that we’ll finally get to see what it is about there.
My fingers are crossed.
