If you've been waiting to play Sir Daniels' remastered adventure, you won't have to wait too long. In fact, the MediEvil "Short-Lived" demo is available to check out right now. Those who play the demo will be able to claim "Dan's Helmet" when the full game releases later next month.

The "Dan's Helmet" item, which was in the Japanese version of MediEvil back when it released for the PS1 in 1998, will be attainable in the game. It can be found early in the demo. Using this item in the demo will reward players with an extra challenge when they equip it in the full game.

There is a trailer that flaunts the action-packed gameplay you know and love from the 21-year old game. There are also some good views of the haunting environments of Gallowmere that you will traverse as the skeletal knight, Sir Daniel. Presumably, you'll be able to see some of these haunting environments for yourself if you play the demo.

If you do want to check out the MediEvil demo, don't hold out for too long; there is a reason why it is called the "Short-Lived." It will only be available from now until October 7 at 12:am PT. So, make sure to download it from the PS Store when you get the chance.

MediEvil will be available for PS4 on October 25, 2019. A Digital Deluxe version of the game is available which includes the full game, "Golden Super Armor," digital artbook, digital comic, soundtrack, and a dynamic theme for PS4.
